Stephill SSD6000S 4.8kW Super Silent Diesel Generator 230V/115V | Electric Start

The Stephill SSD6000S 4.8kW Super Silent Diesel Generator is a durable professional power solution designed for construction sites, workshops, agricultural applications, equipment hire and temporary backup power.

Delivering a continuous and maximum output of 6.0kVA / 4.8kW, it provides a versatile combination of 230V and 115V industrial sockets for powering compatible tools, lighting and electrical equipment.

Yanmar Air-Cooled Diesel Engine

The SSD6000S is powered by a reliable Yanmar air-cooled diesel engine operating at 3000rpm.

Yanmar engines are widely recognised for dependable performance, efficient operation and long service life. The engine is close-coupled to the alternator to create a compact and robust generating package suitable for professional use.

Super-Silent Acoustic Enclosure

The generator is housed within a sound-attenuated enclosure designed to reduce operating noise and protect the engine and alternator.

With a stated noise level of approximately 59dB(A) at 7m, the SSD6000S is well suited to applications where reduced noise is important, including residential areas, workshops, events and commercial premises.

230V and 115V Outputs

The generator includes a practical selection of industrial sockets:

1 × 230V 16A
1 × 230V 32A
2 × 115V 16A
1 × 115V 32A

This combination makes it suitable for standard 230V electrical equipment and reduced-voltage 115V site tools.

Connected equipment should remain within the generator’s rated output, with additional allowance made for motors, pumps and other loads requiring increased power during startup.

Electric Key Starting

The electric key-start system provides quick and straightforward operation without the effort associated with manual recoil starting.

This makes the generator particularly suitable for regular professional use and situations where dependable, convenient starting is essential.

Long-Running Fuel Tank

The integrated 24-litre diesel tank provides up to approximately 17 hours of runtime, depending on the connected load, operating conditions and maintenance of the generator.

This extended operating time reduces the need for frequent refuelling during longer working periods.

Skid-Mounted or Trolley Options

The Stephill SSD6000S is available in a skid-mounted configuration, with trolley options available for applications requiring greater mobility.

The appropriate configuration should be selected according to how the generator will be transported, positioned and used.
